Belmont is a suburb located in the city of Geelong, which is situated in the state of Victoria, Australia. It is approximately 6 kilometers east of Geelong`s central business district and is bordered by the suburbs of Grovedale, Waurn Ponds, Highton, and Wandana Heights.
Belmont was named after the Belmont House estate, which was built in the area in the late 1840s.
