Fyansford is a suburb located on the western outskirts of the city of Geelong in the state of Victoria, Australia. It is approximately 7 kilometers west of Geelong`s central business district and is bordered by the suburbs of Newtown, Highton, and Stonehaven. Fyansford is named after Captain Foster Fyans, who was a police magistrate and surveyor in the early days of the colony of Victoria.
