Norlane is a suburb located in the northern suburbs of Geelong, Victoria, Australia. It is situated approximately 7 kilometers northwest of the Geelong city center and is bounded by the Princes Highway to the east, the Geelong Ring Road to the north, and the western suburbs of Corio and North Shore to the west.
Norlane was established in the post-World War II period to provide affordable housing for returning soldiers and their families. It grew rapidly in the 1950s and 1960s, with many new homes and community facilities being built.
